Our services for local organisations
Dún Laoghaire Rathdown Volunteer Centre works to develop volunteering in our county and local communities. We do this by supporting individuals to volunteer and organisations to involve volunteers. Whether you are a small volunteer led organisation or a large multinational charity, our supports and services are available to help you to start or grow a volunteer programme that helps you to deliver your mission and strategic goals.
You can also email Clare Cryan on support@volunteerdlr.ie to learn more about about our service and seek support.

Access to our Garda Vetting service
We provide an e-vetting processing service for non-profit groups in the DLR area that cannot access vetting through a parent body/organisation or who do not process enough applications annually to sign up directly with the National Vetting Bureau.
Access volunteer support for events
Community Volunteers are a group of trained volunteers who are supported and managed by your DLR Volunteer Centre. These volunteers help support once-off community events and urgent community responses.
