Is your role to manage the volunteers in your organisation?
Would you like to get together with other people in your position to discuss issues, share ideas and to offer peer support?
The Dublin Volunteer Managers Network aims to provide peer support and opportunities for up-skilling for people in the non-profit sector who coordinate volunteers; to help them build and maintain high quality volunteer programmes.
We recognise that involving volunteers can be a hugely beneficial but managing them can sometimes present challenges; especially when time and funding are in short supply. We also acknowledge that there are enormous benefits in creating a space in which volunteer coordinators can talk openly and exchange experiences, seek advice and support. This new network was launched in National Volunteering Week 2013 and you are very welcome to join us.
