A free online event to learn more about letter writing and how you can get involved, hosted by Fingal Volunteer Centre.
Every day volunteers around the country are supporting individuals in nursing homes by sending letters. It won’t take you much time, just a few minutes needed to grab pen and paper and compose a letter, a poem, a drawing or whatever your imagination comes up with.
During this session Fingal Volunteer Centre will introduce you to the Letter Campaign project, how it started, the positive impact it had so far. You will listen to the words of an active volunteer letter writer and can ask any questions you might have about this project.
