We are delighted to announce our next Volunteer Management Training.  This recently revised course will cover everything you need to know to recruit, involve and lead volunteers.  As well as how to deal with any challenging situations that may arise or have arisen already!

This course is ideal for anyone who manages volunteers, particularly those who want to build on existing skills or want to up-skill.  Few of us set out to be Volunteer Managers and yet so many of the groups we meet say they couldn’t do what they do, without their volunteers.  This course will give you the skills, knowledge and confidence needed to build a meaningful and impactful volunteer programme.  Full details of the course can be found here.

Sessions will run on the following dates, on Wednesday mornings from 9.30-1pm on the:

25th of September

2nd of October

9th of October

16th of October

Attendance at all four morning is needed to complete the course.

Where?

Tivoli Training Centre, Dún Laoghaire, a map is available here.  This venue has free parking and is accessible via public transport too.

Training Cost 

We are really passionate about supporting the development of local volunteer managers and making training accessible.  As such we offer the full course for 100e per person.  We understand that some of groups are run entirely by volunteers, without any budget and do have a small number of bursaries available for such groups, so do get in touch with us directly if you need support to attend this.  Contact details are noted below.

To secure your place, please return our registration form which can be downloaded by clicking here and the required fee to the Centre.  Please note places can only confirmed on receipt of both and are offered on a first come first served basis.
