What is Volunteer Preparatory Training
The course is designed to assist participants to be confident in their job as Volunteer Befrienders. After attending you should: Be confident in carrying out the work of a volunteer befriender within the guidelines and boundries as set by the North Dublin Befriending Service. Be able to enjoy your volunteering work and know what exactly is expected of you and know what you can expect from us also. Be able to deal assertively with issues arising. Know if Volunteer Befriending is for you.
