Are you passionate about wanting to see nursing homes evolve from this Covid tragedy stronger, more compassionate and more responsive to the needs of our older people and their families in the years to come?

The Nursing Home Quality Initiative (NHQI) is a voluntary group of relatives and friends of nursing home residents working for systemic change and improvement in nursing home services. As a group, they bring a service user perspective to their work as they actively monitor the many reviews and reports on nursing home affairs and engage with providers and official bodies. This also involves reviewing relevant research and publications, including best practice in other jurisdictions.
