Project Description
Are you, or a family member, an Irish migrant in Britain or a British migrant in Ireland? Until recently, many Irish and British people’s family lives have been divided between Ireland and Britain. Restrictions on international travel made necessary by the Covid-19 pandemic have made it much more difficult for such families to see each other regularly. Researchers in Mary Immaculate College, Limerick are conducting a social scientific project with colleagues in Nottingham Trent University seeking to explore the impact of travel restrictions on such families, in their own words.
If you would like to get involved, please find more information on the study and a link to the research survey, here. If you any further questions, please contact Dr. Marc Scully on marc.scully@mic.ul.ie.
