Fingal LEADER Partnership’s Community Development Team is currently holding a community consultation to feed into the Local Community Development Programme (LCDP) Strategic Plan for the Fingal area which will run from 2011 to 2014. The survey is available at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/FLPcommsurvey or by contacting our office at 01-802 0484. We will have paper copies available to be filled out and returned for those who do not have access to a computer. If you have additional requirements and need more support filling out the survey please just contact us at hduffy@fingalleaderpartnership.ie or ring 01-802 0484.

We would like to hear from anyone who lives in the Fingal community east of the N2.   We offer appointments to volunteers in our outreach locations, these can take place in Dun Laoghaire on Monday afternoons or Dundrum

2011 Outreach programme launched by Fingal Volunteer Centre

Suppported by Fingal County CouncilWe are delighted to announce a new Outreach Programme operated by Fingal Volunteer Centre which is being launched as part of our enhanced services to volunteers for the European Year of Volunteering 2011.  The new Outreach Programme Schedule will see staff and volunteers from Fingal Volunteer Centre operate an outreach service from the following libraries each month:

  • Balbriggan Library
  • Baldoyle Library
  • Blanchardstown Library
  • Garristown Library
  • Howth Library
  • Malahide Library
  • Rush Library
  • Skerries Library
  • Swords Library

Cork Volunteer Centre is recruiting for the post of Placement Officer1volunteer

Reporting to the Manager, the role of the Placement Officer is to to recruit volunteers and match them to opportunities and support them in their volunteering roles; to work with voluntary and community groups to ensure that there are a variety of identified roles available for volunteers to participate in; to support the Manager with the implementation of the Board’s workplan. Most of the work will be done using our online database (Salesforce).
